Lori Kay MA, RNCP, RP is a Registered Psychotherapist. She holds membership with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP) and the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC). She has a Masters of Counselling Psychology (MA), a post-graduate diploma of Clinical Behavioural Sciences (CBS) and a nutritional designation (RNCP). She has a Masters of Counselling Psychology (MA), a post-graduate diploma of Clinical Behavioural Sciences (CBS) and a nutritional designation (RNCP). She has completed Touch for Health (TFH) and Professional Kinesiology Practitioner (PKP) levels 1-4. She provides individual, group and nutritional counselling.

Lori has been providing counselling and psychotherapy services to both adults and children for over 35 years. Prior to private practice she worked in the child welfare system, with young offenders and children /families with protection issues. She has worked in-patient rehabilitation with clients with addictions and brain injuries. With an approach that is insightful and holistic, Lori utilizes strategies from various disciplines based on the client’s circumstances and needs.

Lori provides a safe and trusting environment for her clients thus enabling people to expand their awareness and gain a stronger sense of self. Nutritional and psychological issues can be addressed individually or jointly, depending on the issue and the individual.

Some of the issues she addressed are (but not limited to): depression, anxiety, stress, anger, addictions, acoa, eating disorders, family of origin issues, trauma, PTSD, children issues, addictions parenting issues, BPD and nutritional concerns
